In the Spirit of all those who have gone before, all the Protectors of the Craft, and to the Ancient Ones Themselves

In the Spirit of the Great Goddess, with Her many names, Whose very memory the Christian Church sought to wipe out

In the Spirit of Her Horned Consort, Guardian of the Gates and Protector of the People, whom the Christians unilaterally declared to be the same as their "Satan"

On this December eve (1984), 500 years to the day after the Papal Bull against Witches of Pope "Innocent" III

of Crimes against Humanity, of Crimes against Nature and of Crimes against the Spirit of Life, including but not limited to:

Genocide: massacring entire peoples and cultures that refused to submit, such as the Stedingers (Frisians) of Germany, the pagan Celts, the forest folk -- refugees, pagans and outlaws trying to live freely, and later against the Native Nations of the Americas and Australia, among others

Gynocide: systematic torture and mass execution of women who sought to preserve any forms of our ancient power -- reproductive rights, sexual freedom, political and spiritual leadership as sisters of the Craft, living independently of men, or being anything other than illiterate enslaved churchgoing baby machines

Androcide: systematic torture and mass execution of men who remained loyal to the Ancient Ways of humanity, whether brothers of the Craft, Bards, Druids of other traditions, or who loved one another, joyously celebrating their bodies, which the Christians sought and still seek to mortify

Instituting a Reign of Terror among the Peoples of Europe and the World, instilling mass fear of each other and planting spies among the People, and inciting lynchings, stonings, drownings and burnings at the stake that took the lives of TWELVE MILLION ACCUSED WITCHES -- NINE MILLION OF THEM WOMEN, untold millions of gay men, and imprisoning or exiling millions more

Aiding, abetting and providing religious-ideological support for stealing the Land for the People of the Americas, stealing the People from the Land of Africa, and sending expeditions of conquest to Asia

Cultural destruction and Criminal Seizure of our Sacred Groves, Springs, Temples and other sites, further desecrating them by purposefully building churches there, destruction of our consecrated implements and tools, and destruction of our storehouses of ancient knowledge, such as the burnings by Christians of our Libraries of Alexandria, and at Bangor, or confiscation of our books and scrolls as "evidence," only to wind up in some Vatican vault

committed in the last 500 years, and indeed ever since its foundation as a faith, we vow and prophesy that the next 500 years will see a reversal of these crimes, and the liberation of the Earth our Mother by the People, under pagan and other leaderships dedicated to restoring the Ancient Spirit of planetary communal equality, in balance with the natural way of life. The Religious Regime of Christianity and its Patriarchal relatives will fade from the memory of humanity, so that a true healing can begin. It has been war from the outset between the patriarchs, popes, kings and overlords against the Nature Peoples of the World. This war has never stopped, but the tide has turned. The war is fought on many levels -- with printed and spoken word, with psychic and magical means as well as material means. We will defend ourselves, as always, by any means necessary, and counterattack by any means available and appropriate. Accordingly, to mark the 500th year of the Pope's official declaration of war against Witchcraft and other nature spiritualities

It has been Deconsecrated, Isolated and Warded. For all religious purposes it has been neutralized and quarantined, and the Wards placed around it will render futile all attempts by Christian priests of their followers to reenergize or reconsecrate it with their amateurish psychic skills or their morbid and often hypocritical religious faith. That this is done at a Catholic church is only due to the nature of the occasion. Further Psychic and other Guerrilla activity will strike at other appropriate branches of the religiouss-political-economic-military body of the Patriarchal Empire.

Even though the Inquisitors and Conquerors have slain us a thousand times over, we shall ever be reborn, for there are none who can slay our Spirit, which is the Spirit of Life, and of resistance to oppression. We are watching, we are weaving our web, and we shall return in power to restore the Ancient Way.
